Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project (MCPAP)
MCPAP lists a number of tools for primary care providers:
- Developmental Screening Toolkit for PCPs
- A Toolkit For The Well Child Screening of Military Children
- Screening, Diagnosing, Treating,and Monitoring Child and Adolescent Depression in the Primary Care Setting
- The Primary Care Behavioral Health Toolkit includes guidelines on implementing behavioral health screenings in primary care settings, guidance on clinical issues related to screening, and information on four screening tools: M-CHAT, PSC, PEDS, and PHQ-9.
- Guidelines for Adolescent Depression in Primary Care (GLAD-PC)
- Warning Signs for Parents, a toolkit that includes warning signs of ADHD, bipolar, conduct disorder, depression, eating disorders, suicide, and substance abuse.
- New AAP Clinical Guidelines for Autism Spectrum Disorders
- The Concord SPED PAC Sped Parent Basic Toolkit offers families help navigating the Massachusetts special education system.
- The CRAFFT (Car, Relax, Alone, Forget Friends, Trouble) screens for substance abuse in adolescents.
Regional School Health Coalition Crisis Intervention & Response Guide and Training Tool
Initiated in 2010, the RSHC embarked on the development of a comprehensive guide and training tool aimed at highlighting the procedural and emotional aspects of emergency response/trauma response for youth. The work is being done in collaboration within the Suicide Prevention Coalition & the Central MA Child Trauma Center Project. The Crisis Intervention and Response Resource Guide & Training Tool inventories and identifies programs, resources and protocols available to all within the region (though underutilized or unknown to some districts/agencies) as well as local/state/national resources.
